The Site
One Blackfriars is a broadly rectangular site which extends to
approximately 0.567ha (1.402 acres) and has been a cleared site for a
number of years. An Ordnance Survey extract indicating the extent of
the site edged in red is set out opposite.
The site previously housed an office building, that has subsequently
been demolished, however remnants of the basement remain intact.
At present the site is host to a number of advertising hoardings and
two electricity transformer chambers.
